Chinese Government Cracked Down on Pyramid Scheme

On April 21st of 1998, Chinese government has officially announced that it will no longer tolerate any form of pyramid-selling and scheme in the country.  Since the Sino-American joint venture Avon has first introduced pyramid-selling in the country, this viciously circulated form of marketing has met its end after nine short years.
