With the accelerated progress of the three-net integration (i.e. the integration of telecom, broadcasting and Internet networks), Internet TVs have become the new highlight in color TV market.

As understood, such flat-panel TV giants as Konka, TCL and Changhong have developed Internet TVs. Konka has launched full-serial Wangrui TV products, officially entered the Internet TV market, and hoped to realize the objective of manufacturing and selling more than 6.5 million sets of flat-panel TVs via focusing on Internet TV sets. TCL plans to make the functions of the Internet become the standard configuration, and its major products in the future will be such TVs with Internet functions. Changhong cooperated with China Telecom to launch new TV products. Supported by 3G wireless Internet service, Changhong's Lejiao Internet TV can access to the Internet with high speed.

All big color TV enterprises have launched Internet TVs actively and a context of adapting to the demand in informatization era has shaped up. With the rapid development of Internet, those computer products parading individualized entertainment are more and more popular with young consumers. Color TV enterprises must manage to attract consumers via innovation.

As introduced, based on the deep analysis for the demand of consumers, color TV enterprises make great efforts to develop such Internet TVs to realize the integration of "family entertainment" and "individual entertainment". Only taking Konka's Wangrui TV as an example, besides being provided with basic TV functions, it also provides such entertainment experiences as long-distance video share, picture browse and customization. Additionally, Wangrui TV can provide intelligent search service, enabling consumers to search target online resources conveniently and promptly. "With the emerging of Internet TVs, the focus in color TV industry is transferring from single product sale to comprehensive content service, leading to the change of traditional business mode." Huang Xinzhong, General Manager of Market Department of Multimedia Marketing Division of Konka, believed that, during the construction of Internet TV industrial chain, the alliance and cooperation of contents will become the key driving force. In order to promote the development of Internet TVs, Konka has associated with content suppliers to establish a relatively powerful cooperation platform for contents. Supported by all co-partners, consumers can enjoy more than 10,000 high-definition movies online, and a consummated information system relating to online education, weather forecast, news and shares has also been provided. Now, Konka is still extending the supply chain on content resource, so as to develop a sustainable advantage on the Internet service of value added contents.

"The integration between flat-panel TVs and Internet functions is an inevitable trend for the development of household display devices." Lu Renbo, Deputy Secretary-General of China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, expressed that currently, the competition of the technical innovation on flat-panel TV products has developed to a relatively mature stage, and the next stage will refer to the competition on the functions of products. As the product of 3C integration, Internet TVs are expected to be the core of digital family entertainment and the direction of color TV market in the future. Those LED TVs with Internet functions can meet consumers' demand better, so as to be also the main direction that most mainstream color TV enterprises will attach great importance to.
