Reservations Required for Visiting 20 Pavilions at Shanghai Expo
Apr 19, 2010 By eChinacities.com

According to recent reports, 20 domestic and overseas pavilions at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will implement a reservation system, whereby visitors must reserve their visit in advance. Group visitors to the relevant pavilions must register a few days in advance, while holders of individual tickets can reserve their visit once entering the expo site on the day.

There are also two types of reservations: combined pavilion reservations and single reservations. The combines visit relates to the China Pavilion and Theme Pavilion. Visitors can reserve a “complete” visit to the China Pavilion, or a “partial visit” to one of the five parts in the Theme Pavilion.

Visitors to the Expo site can get reservation help from volunteers, or book at the 20 reservation points and 170 reservation machines at the main entrances of the expo site. Moreover, one expo ticket only allows one reservation per day to the China and Theme pavilions, while five reservations are allowed per day to overseas pavilions and various corporate pavilions.
